Maximizing the Power of LinkedIn for Postdocs

May 2, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

LinkedIn has become a key component of the job search process, both for employers seeking candidates and for candidates seeking new opportunities. This workshop, presented by Wendy Gelberg, EdM, will help you optimize your profile to increase the odds of being found and explore ways to actively incorporate LinkedIn into a strategic job search.

The presenter, Wendy Gelberg, EdM, is a career navigator with JVS CareerSolution and author of The Successful Introvert: How to Enhance Your Job Search and Advance Your Career. She is a certified career coach and resume writer whose expertise is in helping people who are uncomfortable “tooting their own horn.” At JVS, Wendy gives workshops, coaches individuals, and writes resumes. Samples of her resumes and career advice appear in many books and publications, including Fortune Magazine/CNN Money.com, Money Magazine, Woman’s Day, CareerBuilder, idealistcareers.org, and time.com.
