Lecturing: Turning Passive Snoozing into Active Engagement

Lectures are an efficient way to reach a large audience. However, lectures are rarely an efficient way to transmit information, as retention is notoriously low. Using certain easy tricks, it is possible to make your lectures more engaging. By applying evidence from the psychology literature and by using best practices promoted by effective lecturers, Dr. Ole-Petter Hamnvik will teach participants how to promote their message in a powerful way and enhance their students’ retention.
