Launching the new Harvard Medical School ‘Pathways Curriculum’

BWH Impact and Opportunities

Drs. Alexander and Saldaña will lead a discussion about the new HMS medical education curriculum Pathways – that incorporates novel pedagogical approaches to foster active learning while also providing earlier clinical exposure by moving the Principal Clinical Experience into to the second year.

The impact and opportunities for BWH faculty will be discussed, with a focus on new and novel 3rd and 4th year clerkship experiences which are in the formative stages. Forthcoming opportunities will also be presented important for BWH medical educators.
