Stop the Bleed Training for Researchers

Join the Brigham Research Education Program and Brigham Emergency Preparedness for Stop the Bleed training.

 

Stop the Bleed training is used to provide instruction in bleeding control techniques. The ability for bystanders to learn and understand hemorrhage control techniques is a critical need. This training is designed to empower bystanders to provide life-saving care in the event of an emergency. Read more HERE.

 

At this training, you will learn:
• An overview of bleeding control
• How and when to apply a tourniquet
• How to pack a wound, and how much pressure to apply to stop bleeding
