Introduction to Animal Research at BWH for Summer Students and POIs

Calling ALL summer students & POIs planning to work with research animals!

The BWH Center for Comparative Medicine (CCM) animal care and veterinary team is holding a training for all summer students & POIs planning to work with animals in the research setting.

2:00PM – 2:45PM: intro to working with lab animals; training requirements; gaining facility access

3:00PM – 4:00PM: rodent survival surgery lecture – required for all who are performing surgery and/or post-operative monitoring; optional for others

 

Please note that this training will also be held on July 15; you do NOT need to attend both dates.
